The Crown Inn is hidden in the picturesque village of Old Dalby, Leicestershire.

In the heart of the picturesque village of Old Dalby nestles The Crown Inn. The Crown is renowned for its unique character, a fusion of modern and classic which is reflected in both the menu and the building. It is part of the Castle Rock group, three times winner of the Good Pub Guides Best Pub Company Award.

The building dates back to the late 1500s and retains its character through the cosy rooms and open fires that make up the bar area of the Crown. A recent extension has given the restaurant a contemporary make over with floor to ceiling windows allowing guests to look out onto the landscaped garden whilst dining, and in summer open up to create the perfect al fresco experience.

The rolling landscaped gardens and charming interior are not the only reasons to visit The Crown. The bar serves a wide drink selection, from local real ales and continental lagers to fine wine and champagne. The real pull to the Crown though, is the food. There are two varied menus to choose from, the fantastic value bar menu made up of locally sourced produce and also the modern, creative a la carte menu featuring dishes such as fallow venison with blackberries and chocolate.
